Superintelligence Terms of Use
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Use are a binding agreement between you and Superintelligence AI LLC (“Superintelligence,” “we,” “us” or “our”). They apply to getsuperintel.com, read.getsuperintel.com, and every newsletter, podcast, video, social account and other service we run under the Superintelligence name (together, the “Sites”).
By visiting a Site, subscribing to our newsletter, or buying a paid membership, you confirm that you have read these Terms and agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Sites.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information and forms part of these Terms.
2. Using the Sites
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Sites, and you must be able to form a binding contract where you live. You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and your login secure.
You agree to use the Sites lawfully and respectfully. In particular, you agree not to do any of the following:
Scrape, crawl or copy the Sites in bulk, or use automated tools to collect our content or subscriber information, without our written permission.
Use our content to train or fine-tune an AI model, or to build a competing product, without our written permission.
Interfere with the Sites, probe them for weaknesses, or try to reach parts of them that you are not meant to reach.
Sign up with false details, or sign up other people without their consent.
Use the Sites to send spam, spread malware, harass others, or break any law.
3. Newsletter and Superintel+ memberships
The free newsletter is free. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.
Superintel+ is our paid membership. It renews automatically at the price and interval shown when you sign up, until you cancel. Payments are handled by our payment processor, and we do not store your full card details. You can cancel at any time from your account or by replying to any Superintelligence email, and you will keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are not refundable. If something went wrong with a charge, please contact us and we will review it in good faith. We may change prices or benefits with reasonable notice, and any change applies from your next renewal.
4. Our content and intellectual property
We own, or have the right to use, everything we publish on the Sites, including our articles, newsletters, podcasts, videos, graphics, logos and the Superintelligence name. This content is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws.
You may read, listen to and watch our content for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may quote short excerpts with a clear credit and a link back to the original. You may not republish, resell, redistribute or reproduce our content beyond that without our written permission.
We are happy to discuss newsletter recommendations, cross-promotions and syndication with other publishers, so please contact us first.
All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by us.
Podcast and video
The Superintelligence Podcast and our videos are available on our own Sites and on third-party platforms such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify and YouTube. When you listen or watch on one of those platforms, that platform’s own terms and policies also apply to you.
You may share a link to an episode, and you may quote or clip short excerpts with a clear credit and a link back to the original episode. You may not re-upload full episodes, sell or monetize our recordings, or use them to train an AI model without our written permission.
Interviews are recorded, and we may publish them in full or in part in audio, video and written form. Guests appear in their own capacity, and their views are their own and not those of Superintelligence. If you appear as a guest, you agree that we may record the conversation and publish it, along with your name, voice, image and biography, in connection with the podcast and its promotion. We will not edit an interview in a way that changes the meaning of what you said.
Some episodes are sponsored. We label sponsored segments, and a sponsor does not control our questions or our editorial decisions.
5. Your submissions and feedback
If you send us a message, reply to a newsletter, answer a survey, suggest a story, or give us feedback, you keep ownership of what you send. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it to run, improve and promote Superintelligence, and we will not publish your name or personal details without asking you first.
Please do not send us confidential or sensitive information in a reply or message. If you want to share something under embargo or in confidence, ask us first so that we can agree how it will be handled.
Social media accounts
We run official accounts on X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and other platforms. When you follow, message, comment on or tag one of our accounts, you also agree to follow that platform’s own terms and community rules, and we do not control those platforms or how they treat your data.
Comments and messages you post to our accounts are public on most platforms. You keep ownership of what you post. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, share and quote it, with credit to you, in connection with Superintelligence. We may hide, remove or report comments that are abusive, unlawful, misleading or spam, and we may block accounts that repeat that behavior.
Please do not use our name, logo or likeness to set up a look-alike account or to suggest that you speak for us. Our official accounts are the ones linked from getsuperintel.com. If you see an account that imitates us, please let us know by replying to any Superintelligence email.
If you follow or message our WhatsApp account, we will use your number only to reply to you and to send the updates you asked for, and you can stop at any time by telling us to stop or by leaving the channel. Messages sent through WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram are also processed by Meta under Meta’s terms and privacy policy.
6. Sponsors, advertising and third-party links
Some of our content is paid for by sponsors. We label sponsored placements, and we decide what we publish. A sponsor’s presence does not mean that we endorse the sponsor, its products or its claims.
The Sites link to websites, products and services run by other people. We do not control them, we are not responsible for them, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies. Please do your own research before you buy, sign up for or rely on anything a third party offers.
Companies that want to advertise with us can write to ads@getsuperintel.com. Advertising is governed by a separate written agreement, not by these Terms.
7. Disclaimers
Superintelligence is a news and commentary publication about artificial intelligence. Our content is for general information and entertainment only. It is not legal, financial, investment, tax, medical or other professional advice, and you should not rely on it as such.
AI is a fast-moving subject. We work to be accurate, but we cannot guarantee that everything we publish is complete, current or error-free. Where we use AI tools to help produce content, we remain responsible for what we publish, and we correct mistakes when we find them.
THE SITES AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not promise that the Sites will be uninterrupted or secure.
8. Limitation of liability and indemnity
To the fullest extent the law allows, Superintelligence AI LLC and its members, managers, employees, contributors and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Sites. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Sites is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose and one hundred US dollars.
Some places do not allow these limits, so they apply to you only as far as the law permits.
You agree to defend and reimburse Superintelligence AI LLC for claims, losses and reasonable costs that arise from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Sites.
9. Termination, changes, governing law and contact
We may suspend or end your access to the Sites or your membership at any time if you break these Terms or misuse the Sites. You may stop using the Sites at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive, including those about intellectual property, disclaimers and liability, continue after your access ends.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make a material change, we will update the effective date at the top and, where appropriate, tell subscribers by email. Continuing to use the Sites after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you and we consent to those courts.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These Terms are the whole agreement between you and us about the Sites.
