OpenAI: The Rising Star Of AI
The TLDR
OpenAI's ChatGPT reaches 20 million paying subscribers, growing 30% in three months with 500 million weekly users. Monthly revenue hits $415 million. Meanwhile, the company raises $40 billion at $260 billion valuation.
AI giant OpenAI has recorded a remarkable success: ChatGPT has reached the 20 million paying subscribers mark - an increase of 30% in just three months! This development catapults monthly revenue to at least 415 million dollars, which corresponds to an annual pace of 5 billion dollars.
Particularly impressive: the total number of users grew even faster to 500 million weekly users. In parallel, OpenAI is raising 40 billion dollars at a pre-investment valuation of 260 billion dollars.
While OpenAI continues to attract attention - most recently with new image generation features released to coincide with Google's Gemini 2.5 launch - CEO Sam Altman also announced plans to release a free AI model with reasoning capabilities in the coming months.
This strategy could be an indication that it is not the models themselves but the applications based on them that offer the greatest business potential. No wonder OpenAI is already offering AI software to automate research work for 20,000 dollars a month! How will this rapid development affect the entire AI landscape? The answer could redefine the future of the industry.

Their approach combines genome sequencing, longitudinal blood marker analysis and advanced imaging (whole body MRI)
So far, only one prostate cancer-related death among 5,000 members in 10 years (patient came already with late-stage disease)
Early detection and intervention make early-stage prostate cancer almost 100% curable
HLI plans to develop similar algorithms for other cancers (lung, breast, colorectal, and liver cancers)
Although the current cost of membership is between $7,500 and $19,000 per year, the goal is to democratize the technology to under $1,000
